Todd Merriweather started Blue Ridge in 2010 after years in HVAC installation, tired of seeing filthy systems handed back to homeowners. Our vans carry truck mounted negative pressure units and agitation tools, which is the method the industry association actually specifies. Our technicians are NADCA trained.

Questions before booking
How often do ducts actually need cleaning?
For most homes every five to seven years is right. Sooner if you have had construction, a rodent problem, heavy pet shedding, or someone in the house with asthma. Anyone telling you it is an annual job is selling you something.
How long does it take and do I need to be home?
A typical three bedroom home takes three to four hours. Someone needs to be home to give access and to watch the camera footage with the technician at the end, which is the part most people find useful.
Will it reduce my energy bill?
Duct cleaning alone rarely changes your bill much. Cleaning the blower wheel and evaporator coil can, because that is where airflow is usually lost. We measure static pressure before and after so you can see any real change.
Do you find and fix duct leaks?
We find them and photograph them during the camera inspection, and we seal accessible joints with mastic at $35 per connection. Full duct replacement is not something we do, and we will refer you to an HVAC contractor rather than quote it.
