The base is the whole job
Sunline has installed valley wide since 2011. Cheap turf jobs fail because the crew skipped compaction or laid turf straight onto native soil, and by the second monsoon it ripples and pools. We excavate four inches, compact aggregate in lifts, and nail seams rather than glue them in the heat. Our crews are employees, not day labor.

Does artificial turf get too hot to walk on?
In full Phoenix sun turf runs hotter than grass, no way around it. Cooling infill and lighter fiber colours reduce surface temperature meaningfully, and a thirty second hose rinse drops it fast. Shade sails over play areas make the biggest difference.
How does it handle monsoon rain?
The turf backing is perforated and sits on four inches of compacted aggregate, so water drains through at a far higher rate than the rain falls. What matters more is grading, and we set the base to move water away from the house and toward existing drainage.
What does it cost for a typical backyard?
Most valley backyards land between 600 and 1,200 square feet, which puts a finished install roughly between $7,200 and $17,000 depending on access, removal and turf grade. We give a firm written price after measuring.
How long does turf last here?
