FAQ
After an accident
Can my insurance company make me use their shop?
No. In New York you choose the repair facility. Insurers may recommend a network shop, and you are free to decline. We bill your carrier directly either way and handle the claim paperwork from here.
How long will my repair take?
A bumper and one panel is usually three to five days. Structural repairs run two to three weeks depending on parts. Supplements found after teardown can add days, and we call you the day anything changes rather than at the end.
Should I file a claim or pay out of pocket?
If the repair is close to your deductible, paying directly is often the better move. We give you both numbers in writing so you can decide before anything is reported. For structural damage, file.
Will the new paint match my car?
Yes. We pull the factory paint code, mix to it, spray out a test card, and blend into the adjacent panels rather than stopping at the seam. Blending is the step that makes a repair invisible, and it is standard on every job here.
