About the hall
A family run hall, not a rental warehouse
The Kowalczyk family bought the old ironworks social hall in 2004 and spent two years restoring the maple floors and barrel ceiling. We host roughly 140 events a year, which is enough to keep the kitchen sharp and few enough that an owner is on site for every one. Your coordinator is the same person from tour to last dance.

Booking questions we get most
How far in advance should we book a Saturday?
Peak Saturdays from May through October usually go 14 to 18 months out. Winter Saturdays and any Friday or Sunday often open up inside six months. We hold a date free for seven days while you decide.
Can we bring our own caterer?
Our kitchen handles all food, which is how we keep the room fee out of the price. We do make exceptions for cultural menus we cannot cook well, in which case an approved outside caterer pays a kitchen use fee of $600.
What is the deposit and cancellation policy?
A $2,000 deposit holds the date and applies to your final bill. It is refundable up to 180 days before the event, then becomes a credit toward another date within 18 months. The balance is due 14 days out.
Do you have a minimum guest count?
The main ballroom carries a 120 guest minimum on Saturdays and 80 on other days. Smaller parties book the south room, which seats 90 and has no minimum on weekdays.
