Prices are the same for every barber in the shop. Walk ins are welcome whenever a chair is open.
Skin fade
Bald fade blended to the length you want on top, with a razor cleanup at the edges.
Beard trim and line up
Shaped with clippers and a straight razor, finished with beard oil, about twenty minutes.
Hot towel straight razor shave
Three hot towels, pre shave oil, a full straight razor shave and an aftershave massage.
Cut and beard combo
The full haircut and beard service together, our most booked appointment.
Kids cut, twelve and under
Same care, shorter appointment, and we are patient with first haircuts.
The shop
A neighborhood shop, not a chain with a barber pole
Ironwood opened in 2014 when Vincent Marchetti took over an old shoe repair space on Passyunk. All four barbers are licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Barber Examiners and three of them have been in this shop over five years. Cash and card both work, and tipping is appreciated but never expected.

Walk ins, timing and pricing
Do I need an appointment?
No. We take walk ins all day and the live wait time is posted on this site. Saturdays after 10am usually run 30 to 50 minutes, so book ahead if your day is tight.
Can I request a specific barber?
Yes, and there is no price difference between chairs. If your barber is booked and you walk in, the front will tell you the honest wait rather than putting you with someone else.
How long does a cut take?
About thirty minutes for a haircut, twenty for a beard, and forty five for a full straight razor shave. We do not double book chairs, so your time slot is yours.
Do you take walk ins for shaves?
We prefer an appointment for straight razor shaves because they take the chair for forty five minutes. Call ahead and we will usually fit you in the same day, especially Tuesday through Thursday.
