About the team
Nine bartenders who came out of Nashville restaurants
Copperline was started in 2018 by Alexa Boone and Trey Nichols after a decade behind bars in the Gulch and East Nashville. Every bartender on our roster is TABC certified and has worked in a real service bar, which shows up in how fast a line moves at hour two of a reception.

Alcohol, staffing and rules
Why do we buy the alcohol instead of you?
Tennessee law does not allow a mobile bartending service to sell alcohol without a caterer's permit tied to the venue. So you purchase it, we handle service, ice, mixers and everything else. We will build the shopping list and can buy it for you at cost plus a fee.
How much alcohol should we buy?
Our rule of thumb is one drink per guest per hour for the first two hours, then about half that. For 150 guests over four hours that is roughly 18 bottles of liquor or the beer and wine equivalent. We give you a written list with the quote.
Are you insured for our venue?
Yes. We carry two million in liquor liability and general liability and can name your venue as additional insured on the certificate at no charge. Send us the venue contact and we handle it directly.
What happens if a guest has had too much?
Our bartenders are TABC trained to cut off service, and we will do it politely and without making a scene. We coordinate with your planner or a designated contact first whenever there is time to.
