About the house
A carriage house, a garden, and one oven
Marigold House opened in a restored Jones Street carriage house in 2019 with a courtyard nobody had used in decades. Chef Odette Prine bakes the laminated pastry herself starting at five each service morning, which is why we are only open four days. Shrimp comes off boats in Thunderbolt and the grits are milled in Georgia.

Planning your visit
How far ahead should I reserve?
Reservations open two weeks out at 10am and Saturday and Sunday tables between 10am and noon usually go the same day. Thursday and Friday you can often get a table with two days notice. We hold a handful of walk in seats at the bar.
Can we sit on the patio?
We seat the courtyard first whenever the weather allows, and every reservation is considered for it in order. In July and August we open the shaded side early and move indoors as it heats up. We cannot guarantee a specific table.
Do you take large parties?
Up to eight on the regular reservation system. Anything larger is a private courtyard booking on a Friday, which starts at a $900 food and beverage minimum. Email us and we will send the details.
Is there parking nearby?
Jones Street is residential permit parking, so use the Whitaker Street garage three blocks west or metered spots on Abercorn. Meters are free on Sundays, which is our busiest morning.
