Breakfast sandwiches
Egg, cheddar and choice of bacon, sausage or roasted mushroom.
Soup and half sandwich
Three soups daily, at least one vegetarian, posted on the board by 10am.
Sandwiches on house bread
Turkey and havarti, roast vegetable, tuna with celery and dill.
Pastry case
Croissants, morning buns, scones. Baked here starting at 4am.
Catering trays
Sandwich or pastry platters for 10 to 25, 24 hours notice.
About us
A cafe you can actually sit in
Nora opened Marigold Street in 2014 in a former print shop with terrible lighting and a great floor. We kept the floor. The cafe is deliberately built for lingering: outlets at most tables, chairs chosen for comfort over turnover, and no music loud enough to shout over. Nine of our staff have been here more than two years.

Quick answers
Is breakfast really served all day?
Yes. Every breakfast item stays available until we lock the door, including weekends. The only exception is when a specific pastry sells out, which usually happens by noon on Saturdays.
Do you have gluten-free and vegan options?
We keep gluten-free bread for any sandwich, though it is toasted in a shared kitchen. There is always one vegan soup and two vegan plates on the menu, and oat milk is available at no extra charge.
Can I work here for a few hours?
That is what the room was built for. Outlets are at most tables and wifi is free with no time limit. We only ask that you skip the four-top by the window during the noon rush.
Do you take large orders?
Yes, with 24 hours notice for platters serving 10 to 25 people. Same-day large orders sometimes work if you call before 9am and the kitchen has capacity.
