Nothing upfront. We work on a contingency fee, which means our fee is a percentage of what we recover for you. If there is no recovery, you owe no attorney fee. The percentage is written into your agreement before you sign anything.
Arizona generally allows two years from the date of the crash to file a personal injury lawsuit, and claims against a government entity have a much shorter deadline. Deadlines vary with the facts, so speak with a lawyer early rather than near the end.
You are not required to give a recorded statement to the other driver's insurer, and doing so early often hurts a claim. Report the crash to your own insurer as your policy requires, then let your attorney handle the other side.
Arizona uses comparative fault, so you may still recover even if you share some responsibility, with your recovery reduced by your percentage of fault. Insurers routinely overstate a claimant's share, which is one of the things we push back on.
Call any hour or send us the crash details. We will tell you honestly whether you have a claim worth pursuing.
