A tunnel that pays for the detail bay next door
Dale Whitmore bought a struggling self serve lot in 2011 and rebuilt it around soft touch equipment and free vacuums. The detail bay opened four years later because customers kept asking who in town actually knew how to polish paint. Both sides are staffed by the same crew, cross trained so nobody guesses.

Common questions before you pull in
Will the tunnel scratch my paint?
We use closed cell foam and soft cloth, not the old nylon bristles, and the media is rinsed continuously through the wash. If your paint already has swirl marks from another wash, a tunnel will not remove them, that is what paint correction is for.
Can I run a lifted truck or a roof rack through?
Clearance is 7 feet at the entry arch and the track fits up to a 90 inch track width. Roof racks are fine if there is no cargo box or bike mount attached. Anything taller gets washed by hand in the detail bay.
How long does a full detail take?
Interior detail is four to five hours and we ask you to leave the car with us for the day. One stage paint correction is a full day, and ceramic coating is two days because the coating needs to cure indoors overnight before it can see water.
Does the monthly plan cover more than one vehicle?
Each plan is tied to one license plate read by the gate camera. Households with two cars usually take two plans, and the second one is five dollars off. You can swap the plate to a new vehicle once per billing cycle at the office.
