How we work

One coordinator from tasting to load-out

Wildfield grew out of a farmers market food tent in 2012 and now runs about 180 events a year from a commissary kitchen on Amity Road. You get one event coordinator who runs your tasting, writes the timeline and is standing in the kitchen the day of. We staff with our own trained crew rather than day labor, which shows in service pace.

•We site visit every venue we have not worked before
•Dietary needs plated separately and labeled by seat
•Licensed and insured, including liquor liability
Delightful charcuterie board with meats, cheeses, and fresh fruits at an event setup.

FAQ

Planning questions

How far in advance should we book?

Saturday weddings between May and October are typically claimed nine to twelve months out. Corporate events and weekday dates often come together in four to six weeks. We hold a date with a signed contract and a 25 percent deposit.

What does a tasting involve and does it cost anything?

Tastings are $95 for two people, credited to your balance when you book. You try up to four entrees and four sides in our kitchen and leave with a draft menu the same day.

Can you handle allergies and dietary restrictions?

Yes, and we plan them by seat rather than by tray. Send the final counts with your guest list two weeks out. Gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan and nut allergies are routine for us.

What if our venue has no kitchen?

Most of the outdoor venues here do not. We bring mobile ovens, hot boxes, prep tables and our own power plan, and we site visit ahead of time so nothing is a surprise at load-in.
