What is on, and what it costs
All shows are 18 and up. Two drink minimum applies to every ticketed show.
Thursday night headliner
One show at 8pm, usually the same headliner working out newer material.
Local showcase
Six to eight New Orleans comics, Tuesday and Wednesday at 8:30pm.
Monday open mic
Sign up at 7pm, four minutes each, first 25 names on the list get a spot.
Private and corporate bookings
The full room, a booked lineup, and a bar package for groups up to 140.
Comedy workshop, six weeks
Writing and stage time with a working comic, ending in a graduation showcase on our stage.
The room
A brick basement that was never meant for comedy
We took over a storage cellar under a Frenchmen Street building in 2013, put a stage against the short wall, and found out the low brick ceiling does something wonderful to laughter. The room seats 140 and the back row is 34 feet from the mic. We have hosted comics on their way up and comics coming back through town for old time's sake.

Planning your night
What is the two drink minimum?
Each ticket holder orders two items from the bar during the show. Non alcoholic drinks count, so soda, coffee, or water in a glass all satisfy it. It is how the room pays the comics.
How early should I arrive?
Doors open an hour before showtime and seating is general admission, so arriving 30 to 45 minutes early gets you a better seat. Late arrivals are seated at the back between comics, not during a set.
Will I get picked on if I sit in front?
Possibly. Crowd work happens, mostly in the first two rows. If you would rather not be part of the show, sit past row three and you will almost certainly be left alone.
How do I get on the open mic list?
Come to the club at 7pm on Monday and put your name on the paper list at the bar. The first 25 names get four minutes each. There is no online signup and no holding spots for friends.
