Halcyon started in 2013 when three artists left in house roles at Seattle studios and kept getting called back for overflow. That background shapes how we deliver. Concept art that ignores build constraints wastes a modeler's week, so our sheets include the callouts, scale references and material notes an artist downstream actually needs.
“Their environment sheets included modular callouts nobody asked for. Our level team built from them without a single clarification email.”
Nina K., Art director, mid size studio
“We embedded one of their artists for six weeks during crunch. They were in standups on day two like they had always been there.”
Paolo M., Producer
“The exploration pass killed two directions early and saved us most of a month.”

Per asset for defined lists, or per week for embedded work with a four week minimum. Send an asset list with your fidelity target and we will come back with a per item bid and a delivery schedule tied to your milestones.
Yes, most of our work is. We sign your NDA before receiving any materials and we keep a private portfolio for pieces we cannot show publicly. Ask and we will share it on a call.
No, and we will state that in the contract. Every piece is drawn and painted by our artists. Several of our clients have provenance requirements from their publisher, so this comes up on most first calls.
You do, on a work for hire basis for anything produced for your project, with rights transferring on final payment. Portfolio usage is negotiated separately and we default to keeping it private until you release it.
Share the project scope, fidelity target and milestone dates. We will reply with a bid and which artists are available.
