Child cleaning
For ages 3 to 14, includes fluoride varnish and a brushing coaching session.
Periodontal maintenance
For patients with a history of gum disease, typically every three or four months.
Scaling and root planing
Deep cleaning under local anesthetic, usually split across two visits.
Dental sealants
Resin sealing of molar grooves, most useful within two years of the tooth erupting.
Take home whitening trays
Custom trays from your impressions plus two weeks of professional strength gel.
About the practice
Hygiene is the whole job here, not an add on
Marisol Vega opened Clear Arch in 2017 under Oregon's expanded practice permit, which lets a hygienist see patients without a dentist on site. Nobody here is trying to sell you a crown. We take x rays when they are due, refer out when we find something, and keep a list of four general dentists we trust for the referral.

Questions patients ask
Do I need a dentist referral to come here?
No. Oregon's expanded practice permit lets our hygienists see patients directly for preventive care. If we find decay, a cracked filling or anything needing restorative work, we send you to a general dentist with our findings and x rays.
How often should I get a cleaning?
Every six months suits most healthy mouths. If you have had gum disease, smoke, or have diabetes, three or four month intervals hold results far better. We set your interval on gum measurements, not on a default.
Do you take my insurance?
We bill most PPO plans directly, including Delta Dental, Cigna and MetLife. We are not in network with HMO or DMO plans. Either way we hand you an itemized claim form, and self pay prices are listed on this page so there are no surprises.
Does a deep cleaning hurt?
Scaling and root planing is done under local anesthetic, so the appointment itself is comfortable. Gums are usually tender for two or three days afterward and cold sensitivity can last a week or two. We call the evening after every deep cleaning to check in.
