For patients without dental insurance, ages 12 and up. If we find active gum disease we will tell you before any cleaning and quote deep cleaning separately. Insured? We bill your plan directly and most PPOs cover new patient exams at 100%.

We hold two emergency slots every weekday morning and two every afternoon for cracked teeth, lost crowns, swelling and knocked out teeth.

We handle root canals, extractions and implant crowns in house instead of sending you across town. Prices below are our fees before insurance, so you can compare honestly.
Cleanings and checkups
Six month recall visits, fluoride, sealants for kids, and deep cleaning for gum disease when the pockets call for it.

Fillings and crowns
Tooth colored composite fillings, and same day ceramic crowns milled here so you skip the temporary and the second visit.

Molar root canals and wisdom tooth removal without a referral. Nitrous oxide included at no charge for any surgical visit.

Kids and teens
First visits from age one, cavity free club, and a tell show do approach. Braces referrals to two local orthodontists we trust.

Implants and bridges
Guided single tooth implants placed and restored in office, plus dentures and partials repaired while you wait.

Whitening and night guards
Custom take home whitening trays, and hard acrylic night guards for grinding that actually last more than a season.

Insurance and payment
We are in network with most Oregon PPO plans.
Bring your card to the first visit and our treatment coordinator, Nicole, will verify your benefits before you sit in the chair. We file the claim, and you only pay your share on the day.
Not on the list? We are happy to treat out of network patients and submit the claim on your behalf. We also offer CareCredit and a no interest in house payment plan on treatment over $600.

Before you call
Questions we answer every day.
How soon can I get an appointment?
Routine cleanings are usually booking two to three weeks out. Emergencies, meaning pain, swelling, a broken tooth or a lost crown, are seen the same day if you call before 3:00 pm on a weekday.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Your insurance card, a photo ID, a list of any medications, and the name of your previous dentist if you would like us to request records. Plan on about 70 minutes for a new patient appointment.
Do you take my insurance if I am out of network?
Yes. We submit the claim for you either way. Out of network usually means your plan pays a slightly lower percentage, and we will show you that number in writing before you agree to treatment.
I have not been to a dentist in years. Will I get a lecture?
No. About a third of our new patients have been away for five years or more. We look at where you are today, sort out anything painful first, and build a plan you can pace over months if you need to.
Do you see children, and from what age?
We see children from their first birthday. Kids under six usually ride along at a parent's appointment first so the room feels familiar before they have their own visit.
What if I am nervous about the dentist?
Tell us when you book and we will schedule extra chair time. Nitrous oxide is available for any procedure at no extra charge, and Dr. Ruiz sees most of our anxious patients.
