How we work
Six DJs, and you pick yours
Grand Marquee started in 2013 with one DJ and a trailer. We now have six, and the one you meet at your consultation is contractually the one at your event. Two planning meetings build your timeline, your must play list and your do not play list. Every DJ carries a full backup rig in the vehicle because gear fails and weddings do not reschedule.

Questions we get
Will we know our DJ before the wedding?
Yes. You choose your DJ at booking, their name is in the contract, and they run both planning meetings with you. We do not rotate DJs or send a substitute unless there is a documented medical emergency, and in thirteen years that has happened twice.
Do you MC as well as DJ?
Yes, and it is included. Announcements, introductions, toasts and coordinating with your photographer and caterer are part of the package. We will match the tone you want, from nearly invisible to high energy, and we set that at the planning meeting.
What happens if equipment fails?
Every DJ carries a full backup system: a second controller, spare speakers, extra cables and a redundant music library on a separate drive. Most guests never learn anything went wrong, which is the entire point.
What do you need to secure our date?
A $500 retainer and a signed contract. The balance is due fourteen days before the event. Dates go quickly for fall Saturdays, so if you are deciding between vendors, ask us how long we can informally hold the date.
