Most failed drainage in this area is somebody else's pipe installed with no fall, or corrugated tubing crushed by a truck tire. Stonebrook uses a laser level to confirm the fall on every run, and we install rigid pipe under any surface a vehicle can reach. When a yard cannot daylight, we say so and price the pump instead of pretending gravity will cooperate.

Drainage questions
Why does my yard still flood after regrading?
Grading only helps if there is somewhere lower for the water to reach. In neighborhoods where every lot sits at the same elevation, you also need a piped path to the street, a dry well, or a pump. We check the elevation across the whole lot before recommending either one.
Will a French drain fix a wet basement?
Sometimes. If water is entering because the yard drains toward the house, an exterior drain and buried downspouts often solve it. If water is coming up through the slab or through block walls under hydrostatic pressure, you need an interior perimeter drain and a sump. We test which one you have before quoting.
How long does the yard look torn up?
The trench line stays visible for about four to six weeks. We backfill, tamp, and replace the sod or seed the same day we finish. By the second mowing most customers cannot find the line without looking for it.
Do I need a permit?
Most residential drainage in Cobb and Fulton does not require a permit, but tying into a public storm system or working inside a stream buffer does. We pull whatever the county requires and we will not tie into a neighbor's drain or a creek buffer without approval.
