Instructors who have taught here for years
Clearpath has been running out of the same Fairview Avenue classroom since 2008, and most of our instructors have been with us more than five years. Every training car has a passenger side brake and is inspected monthly. We are approved by the Idaho State Department of Education to deliver teen driver education.

Licensing questions
When can my teen start the course?
In Idaho a student can begin driver education at 14 years and 6 months, and can get a supervised instruction permit after the first classroom sessions. Completing the full course is required before a teen can be licensed under 17.
How many supervised hours do we still need at home?
Idaho requires 50 hours of supervised driving with a parent or guardian, including at least 10 at night, logged after the permit is issued. We give you the log sheet and suggest what to practice in what order.
Do you pick up from school?
Yes, across Boise, Meridian, Eagle and Kuna at no extra charge. Give us the school and the release time when you book and the instructor meets your student at the pickup loop.
What if my teen fails the road test?
It happens and it is not the end of anything. We debrief what the examiner marked, book one targeted lesson on that skill, and rebook the test. Retests through us are $85.
