About the studio
Ten minutes of chaos usually makes the best frame
I shoot the way families move. We walk, kids climb things, someone gets carried, and somewhere in the middle everyone forgets a camera is there. I still get the posed one your mother wants, we just do not spend the hour on it.

Planning your session
What should we wear?
Pick two or three colors that sit near each other and build everyone from there, avoiding logos and tight patterns. I send a full guide with example photos when you book, plus a folder of outfit ideas by season. If you are stuck, text me photos of what is laid out and I will pick.
What happens if it rains?
We reschedule to the next available evening at no charge, and I hold a backup date for every session in advance. Light overcast is actually great, so I only move for real rain or dangerous heat. You will hear from me by early afternoon on session day.
How do we handle a toddler who will not cooperate?
We plan the session for after a nap, keep it to under an hour, and I never ask a young child to sit still for more than a minute. Snacks and a familiar toy in my bag help. Most of the images parents love from those years are the ones where the kid was busy doing something.
When do we get the photos?
Your online gallery arrives within two weeks and stays up for a year for downloading and ordering prints. Every image is fully edited, so there is no separate retouching fee. If you need a few images sooner for a card deadline, tell me when you book and I will send previews early.
