We spent four years closing books by hand
Our founders ran payments at a logistics marketplace where month end close took nine days and two analysts chasing settlement differences. Technical and commercial questions
How long does integration take?
Most teams post their first ledger entries within a day of sandbox access and reach production in one to three weeks. The main variable is how many processors and bank feeds you need connected, not the API itself.
Do you replace our accounting system?
No. Ledgerline is the subledger that sits between your payment flows and your general ledger. We export to QuickBooks, NetSuite, and CSV so your accounting system stays the system of record for the books.
How is pricing calculated?
By monthly transaction volume through the ledger, billed on a tier rather than per call, so a burst does not create a surprise invoice. Sandbox is free and unlimited, and there is no charge for reads.
What happens to our data if we leave?
You can export your full ledger history through the API or as flat files at any time, during or after the contract. We retain data for 30 days after termination and then delete it, and we will confirm deletion in writing.
