About the shop
We design from the cooler, not a catalog
Wren and Thistle buys from fourteen Wisconsin growers between May and October and from responsible importers the rest of the year. That means the arrangement you get looks like Wisconsin in June rather than like a photo taken in a warehouse. Our designers have between four and eighteen years behind the bench, and yes, we still make carnation work when someone's grandmother loved carnations.

Ordering questions
Can you deliver today?
Yes, if you order before noon Monday through Friday, or before ten on Saturday. Delivery across Madison and the near suburbs is $14, and we will text you when it is dropped off.
What is designer's choice?
You give us a color direction and a budget and we build with whatever is best in the cooler that morning. It is the best value in the shop, because we can use the flowers that just came in rather than paying to source a specific stem out of season.
How much do wedding flowers cost?
Full weddings generally start around $2,800 and most of ours land between $3,500 and $7,000, driven mostly by how many large installations you want. We do a consult and send an itemized proposal so you can add and cut before signing anything.
How long will my arrangement last?
Expect five to nine days depending on the flowers. Change the water every two days, recut the stems at an angle and keep them away from sunny windows and fruit bowls, which is the thing nobody tells you.
