Hallie and June opened The Copper Wren in 2013 with about thirty makers and a folding table for wrapping. We buy small, reorder often, and give shelf space to people who are actually making things in Michigan rather than importing them. If we would not give it to our own family, it does not come in.

Gift questions
Is gift wrapping really free?
Yes, on anything bought here, including during the December rush. We will also wrap something you bought elsewhere for five dollars if you are already in the neighborhood.
How much notice do you need for corporate boxes?
Under twenty boxes can often go out the same day. For fifty or more, or anything with custom cards or engraving, give us two weeks, and December orders should land by the first of the month.
Do you ship gifts directly to the recipient?
We do, anywhere in the US, with your card message inside and no pricing in the box. Shipping starts at nine dollars and we email tracking to you rather than the recipient.
Can gifts be returned or exchanged?
The recipient can exchange or take store credit within thirty days without a receipt, since we can look up the purchase. Custom engraved items and perishable food are the only things we cannot take back.
