How we work
Two brothers, four trucks, no subcontractors
Sean and Patrick Doyle started Downspout Brothers in 2011 with one ladder and a leaf blower. Everyone on our crews is an employee, background checked and covered by workers comp. We hand scoop instead of blowing debris across your roof, because blowing it just moves the problem into the downspout.

Questions we get asked
When should gutters be cleaned in Cleveland?
Late November after the oaks finally drop, and again in spring for maple seeds and shingle grit. Homes under heavy tree cover often need a third visit in early autumn, and we will tell you honestly if yours does not.
Are gutter guards worth it?
Good micro mesh guards cut cleaning frequency substantially, but nothing is maintenance free. Guards still need a rinse every couple of years, and cheap plastic screens tend to make the problem worse. We only install one type for that reason.
Do I need to be home?
No. We need gate access and, ideally, a working outdoor spigot. You get photos and the invoice by email, so most of our customers are at work when we come.
What if my gutters are damaged?
We photograph anything we find, quote the repair before doing it, and never do extra work without your approval. Resealing and hanger replacement we handle. Full gutter replacement we do not, and we will name two local companies that do.
