Short and clipper cuts
Fades, pixies and undercuts, shaped to your head rather than to a guard number.
Lived in balayage
Hand painted lightening designed to grow out softly, so you are not back in six weeks.
Root touch up and gloss
Grey coverage or root color plus a gloss to pull the whole head back together.

Pinks, blues and coppers, quoted after a consult since it depends on how much lifting is needed.

Twelve years, and I went independent to slow down
I spent seven years in busy Minneapolis salons doing three heads at once, and I got tired of doing rushed work. Since 2019 I have rented a private suite on Lyndale and taken one client at a time. Fewer appointments, more attention, and I have not once run late.

Before we book
Why do you require a consultation for color?
Because I would rather tell you the truth about your hair before you have paid a deposit. Previous color, how light you want to go and how much breakage your hair can take all change the plan. The consult takes fifteen minutes, costs nothing, and often saves several hundred dollars.
How far ahead do you book?
Usually three to five weeks, and longer around December and May. I keep a cancellation list that fills several slots most months, so ask to be on it if your timing is flexible.
What is your cancellation policy?
Forty eight hours notice, no charge. Inside that window I ask for half the service price, because I only book one person at a time and an empty chair cannot be refilled at short notice. I make exceptions for genuine emergencies without a fuss.
Can you work with curly or textured hair?
Yes. I cut curly hair dry, curl by curl, and I am experienced with wavy through tight coil patterns. If your texture needs something I am not the best person for, I will say so and refer you to a stylist who is.
