Our school
A comprehensive high school with room for every plan
Northbridge opened in 1962 and moved to the Bridgeport campus in 1998. Principal Dana Whitfield has led the building since 2019. About 58 percent of our graduates enroll in a two or four year college and another 21 percent go directly into a trade, apprenticeship, or the military.

Enrollment and school life
How do I enroll my student?
Bring a birth certificate, immunization records, proof of address, and the most recent transcript to the main office. Enrollment for the fall opens in April, and we enroll transfer students year round, usually within two business days.
What is the attendance policy?
Students need 90 percent attendance in a course to earn credit. Absences are excused with a parent call within 48 hours. If attendance drops below that line, the counselor sets up a recovery plan before credit is lost.
Can students take AP and dual credit at the same time?
Yes, and many juniors and seniors do. AP exams are taken in May for potential college credit, while dual credit posts directly to a Missouri State transcript. Your counselor will help decide which fits your target college.
What phone and device rules apply?
Phones stay in backpacks during instructional time and are allowed at lunch and between classes. Every student receives a school Chromebook, and families needing home internet should ask the office about the district assistance program.
