What a night costs
Rates include breakfast, linens, wifi and lockers. Off-season runs roughly 25 percent lower.
Female-only dorm, 6 beds
Same setup, keycard access, ensuite bathroom on that floor.

Queen bed, shared hall bathroom, window on the courtyard side.

The building
An 1890s ship chandlery with new plumbing
The building spent a century selling rope and hardware to fishing crews before it sat empty. We gutted it in 2015, kept the beams and the freight elevator door, and put in the things travelers actually notice: water pressure, quiet HVAC and a kitchen with more than one working burner. Staff are travelers themselves, which is why the local advice is specific.

Common questions
Is there an age limit?
Guests must be 18 or older to book a dorm bed. Families with children can book private rooms, and under-16s must share a room with a parent or guardian.
Do you have lockers big enough for a backpack?
Yes. Every dorm bed comes with a full-height locker that fits a 65 litre pack. Bring your own padlock or buy one at reception for $6.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in from 3pm, check-out by 11am. Arriving earlier or leaving later is fine, we store bags free and you can use the showers and common room either way.
Is parking available?
We have no lot. The Fore Street garage is a three-minute walk and runs about $18 for 24 hours. Street parking is metered until 6pm and free on Sundays.
