About the hotel
Locally owned since the building reopened in 2008
The Rivermark is owned by two Savannah families who bought the warehouse in 2005 and spent three years restoring it. We are not part of a chain, which means the general manager is on property most days and can actually fix your problem.

Good to know before you arrive
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel free up to 48 hours before arrival on standard rates. During St. Patrick's week and the first two weeks of October we require 14 days notice and a one night deposit.
Is parking a problem downtown?
Street parking is metered until 8pm and hard to find on weekends. Our valet is $32 a night with in and out privileges, which most guests find cheaper than the nearby garages.
Can we check in early?
Check in is 3pm. If a room is ready earlier we will give it to you at no charge, and we will hold your bags at the desk either way from 8am.
Are you within walking distance of River Street?
Two blocks north, about a four minute walk. Forsyth Park is a 15 minute walk south and the visitor center is five minutes west.
