You get the number before the first item goes on the truck, and it does not change unless you add to the pile.
Quarter trailer load
About a small bedroom's worth, roughly four cubic yards including labor and disposal.

Whole house or estate volume, we will bring a second trailer at the same rate.

Ray started with one pickup truck and a borrowed trailer in 2013 after a decade doing apartment turnovers. We now run three trucks and everyone on a crew is a background checked employee, not a day labor call. If something is still usable we take it to Habitat ReStore or City Union Mission before it ever reaches a landfill.

Before you book a pickup
How is the price figured out?
By volume, meaning how much space your stuff takes up in the trailer, not by weight or by the hour. The crew looks at the pile, shows you where it lands on the price card, and you approve it before anything is loaded. Labor, dump fees, and cleanup are all in that number.
Do I need to be there for the pickup?
Not if the items are somewhere we can reach, like a driveway, garage, or unlocked storage unit. We text photos before and after and take payment by card over the phone. For anything inside an occupied home we do ask that an adult be present.
What will you not take?
We cannot take paint, motor oil, solvents, propane tanks, asbestos, or medical waste, because those need a hazardous waste facility. We can point you to the Kansas City household hazardous waste drop off. Everything else, including mattresses, tires, and appliances, is fine.
How fast can you get here?
Most calls placed before two in the afternoon get picked up the same day, and everything else goes out the next morning. Saturdays book up first, so call earlier in the week if you need a weekend slot for a move out deadline.
