Install pricing is per square foot installed, including base prep and haul away.
Retaining walls
Segmental block walls with drainage stone and fabric, engineered above four feet.
Planting and bed renovation
Native and adapted plants chosen for clay soil and full afternoon sun, with steel or stone edging.
Weekly lawn maintenance
Mow, trim, edge and blow, with beds weeded every third visit, on a set day each week.
Irrigation install and repair
Zoned systems with a rain sensor, plus spring startup and fall blowout at $95 each.
Drainage correction
French drains, dry creek beds and regrading for yards that hold water after a hard rain.
About the crew
Twenty years of building in Johnson County clay
Redbud started in 2006 with one truck and a Bobcat. We now run four crews, all led by foremen who have been with us at least six years. We do our own hardscape rather than subbing it out, which is why our patios do not settle after two winters.

FAQ
Estimates, timing and warranty
How long is the wait for a patio install?
Four to seven weeks in spring and early summer, shorter in September and October. We give you a firm install week when you sign, not a vague range.
What does the plant warranty actually cover?
Two years on trees, shrubs and perennials we install, replaced once at no charge if the plant fails under normal watering. It does not cover drought damage where irrigation was declined or damage from deer and pets.
Do you require a deposit?
Fifty percent at signing for install work, balance on completion. Maintenance accounts are billed monthly with no deposit and no annual contract.
Can you fix a yard that floods?
Usually yes. We come out after a rain if we can, find where water enters and sits, and quote a fix that is often regrading and a dry creek bed rather than an expensive underground system.
