Funding a partnership agreement or protecting a loan the bank required coverage on.
We read what you already own and tell you plainly whether to keep it.
Tanner Kemp opened in 2007 after nine years working for a single carrier where the answer to every question was that carrier's product. As an independent agency we can quote across the market, and because commission rates are similar across term carriers we have no reason to steer you. Roughly eight in ten of our clients end up with plain term insurance.
“Another agent quoted me a whole life policy at four hundred a month. Tanner got me a million of twenty year term for fifty eight.”
Josh L., Father of two, Derby
“I have type 2 diabetes and got declined once already. They knew which carrier would take me and I was approved standard.”
Denise F., Wichita
A common starting point is ten to twelve times your income, then add the mortgage balance and expected college costs and subtract savings already earmarked. The better question is how many years your family needs replacing income for, because that sets the term length as much as the amount.
Term covers a temporary need such as a mortgage and children at home, and it costs a fraction of permanent coverage. Permanent policies make sense for lifelong obligations like a special needs dependent, an estate tax bill or a business buyout. If someone leads with whole life before asking what you need, be careful.
Often not. Many carriers now approve healthy applicants up to a million or more using prescription and medical records instead of labs. Simplified issue policies skip the exam entirely, though you pay somewhat more for that convenience.
No. Life insurance rates are filed with the state, so the same policy costs the same whether you buy it direct or through us. Our compensation comes from the carrier and is built into that filed rate either way.
Give us your age, health basics and what you are protecting. Quotes come back the same day with no obligation.
