I started in editorial work in Atlanta and moved to Savannah in 2016, where I learned quickly that a beautiful look means nothing if it slides off during a 4pm outdoor ceremony in August. My kit is built around long wear formulas and shades that cover every skin tone in the party, and I sanitize between every face.

Wedding makeup questions
Do I really need a trial?
For the bride, yes. A trial is where we test how a look photographs, how it wears on your skin, and how long your application actually takes, which shapes the whole morning timeline. Bridal party members do not need trials.
Airbrush or traditional?
Both wear well. Airbrush sits lighter and tends to hold longer in heat, so it is popular for outdoor summer weddings. Traditional gives more buildable coverage for texture or redness. I will recommend one at your trial after seeing your skin.
How early do you arrive on the wedding day?
I build the timeline backward from your photographer's first look time, allowing 45 minutes for the bride and 30 per bridal party member. For a party of six that usually means arriving about four hours before you need to be ready.
What does travel cost?
Travel within thirty miles of downtown Savannah is included. Beyond that it is $0.70 a mile, and Hilton Head, St Simons or anything requiring a pre dawn start carries a flat $125 travel fee. It is stated in the contract, never added later.
