Weekend is the front door. These are the rooms behind it.
Northgate Kids, birth to grade 5
Secured check in, background checked volunteers, age split classrooms.
Students, grades 6 to 12
Wednesday nights at 6:30, plus summer camp and fall retreat.
Small groups
Neighborhood groups of eight to fourteen meeting in homes across four counties.
Care and counseling
Grief, marriage, and recovery groups led by trained lay leaders and licensed counselors.
Local outreach Saturdays
Food pantry, ESL tutoring, and home repair with partner nonprofits.
Who we are
Started in a school cafeteria in 1994
Northgate met in a rented elementary school for its first six years, and a good part of how we operate still comes from that season. Multiple campuses exist so people do not have to drive forty minutes past three other churches to be part of this one. Teaching is shared live at each campus rather than piped in on video.

Common questions from first time guests
What actually happens on a Sunday morning?
About twenty five minutes of music, a thirty five minute message, and announcements, ending around the seventy minute mark. There is no offering plate passed and no moment where guests are asked to stand up. Come as you are, most people are in jeans.
Where do I take my kids and is it safe?
Kids check in opens thirty minutes before each service in the north lobby, and you receive a matching tag that is required to pick your child up. Every volunteer is background checked and there are always two unrelated adults in a room. Infants through grade five have separate spaces.
How do I meet people at a church this size?
Weekend attendance alone will not do it, which is why we push small groups hard. Groups of eight to fourteen meet in homes across the metroplex and you can visit two or three before committing. Starting Point, a four week class, runs monthly for people who want a smaller on ramp first.
Do I have to give money to be part of things?
No. Services, groups, kids ministry, and care groups all cost nothing to attend. Camps and retreats have a fee, and scholarships are available by asking the campus office, no explanation required.
