Contemporary worship, 11am
Band led music in the fellowship hall, same message, more casual and kid friendly.
Sunday school, all ages
Classes at 10am for children, youth and four adult groups, plus a nursery for infants.
Youth group, grades 6 to 12
Sunday evenings 5 to 7pm with dinner, plus a summer mission trip and a fall retreat.
Wednesday community meal
A hot dinner served to anyone who comes, about 220 neighbors each week, no questions asked.
Small groups and Bible study
Fourteen groups meeting in homes and at the church, including a young adults group and a grief group.
About our church
A neighborhood congregation near the university
Trinity has been on East Maxwell Street since 1946, a few blocks from campus. About 410 people worship with us on a typical Sunday, ranging from students to families to folks who have been in these pews for sixty years. We are affiliated with the United Methodist Church.

FAQ
Questions from first time visitors
What should I wear and what is the service like?
You will see suits at 9am and jeans at 11am, and nobody will comment either way. Both services run about an hour, with music, prayer, a scripture reading and a message. Ushers can seat you late if you need it, there is no wrong way to arrive.
Where do my kids go?
Nursery care for infants through age three is available during both services in the staffed room off the main hallway. Children age four through fifth grade are invited forward for a children's message and then go to their own program. Every volunteer is background checked.
Do I have to be a member to take communion or participate?
No. In the United Methodist tradition the table is open to everyone, regardless of membership or denomination. You are also welcome in any small group, class or ministry without joining anything.
How can I get help, or help someone else?
Our Wednesday community meal is open to anyone who is hungry, and our benevolence fund helps with utility bills and rent for area residents. Call the church office weekdays and ask for the pastor on duty. If you want to volunteer, that same call is the place to start.
