Inspected used bikes
Each gets a 60 point inspection, fresh fluids and new tires if tread is under 3mm.
Tire mount and balance
Wheel off pricing, or $95 on the bike, with road force balancing on either.
Annual service and valve check
Oil, filters, chain, brakes and a valve clearance check on the interval your manual calls for.
Dyno tuning
Three pull baseline plus fuel and ignition mapping, with a printed before and after sheet.
Helmets and riding gear
Helmets, armored jackets, gloves and boots, fitted in person with no online return hassle.

A dealership run out of a service bay mindset
Dale Pritchard opened Gearhead in 2006 after fifteen years wrenching for a Japanese brand dealer. Sales sits at the front, but the shop is the heart of the business and it shows in what we put on the floor. Bikes that come in on trade and do not pass the 60 point inspection go to auction rather than to a customer, and we will tell you when a bike is not right for a new rider.

FAQ
Sales and service questions
Do you finance motorcycles?
Yes, through three lenders including a local credit union, and rates typically run 7.5 to 15 percent depending on credit and bike age. We can usually get a real number back within an hour during business hours, and you are free to bring your own financing.
Will you service a bike you did not sell?
Absolutely, that is most of our shop work. We service all Japanese and European brands and most American V twins. The only thing we turn away is bikes with heavily modified wiring we cannot trace, because we cannot warranty work on top of that.
How long does service take?
Tire changes and oil services are usually same day if you drop off by 10am. Annual service with a valve check runs two to four days. In spring, the whole shop backs up to about two weeks, so book March work in February if you can.
Do you take trades?
We do, and we will make a written offer good for seven days whether or not you buy from us. Bring the title, both keys and the service records. Bikes with a clean history and under 25,000 miles get the strongest numbers.
