Cuts, styles, locs, and real scalp care
Prices start where listed and vary with length and density. Your stylist confirms before starting.
Silk press
Heat protected press with a trim, finished light so your curl pattern reverts cleanly.
Loc retwist and style
Retwist, deep cleanse, and styling for starter through mature locs.
Knotless box braids
Tension conscious install, hair included, typically four to six hours.
Curl cut
Cut curl by curl on dry hair so you see the shape as it will actually fall.
Scalp and hairline treatment
Steam treatment and targeted care for dryness, buildup, and thinning edges.

Tasha Bell opened Coil & Crown in 2015 after years of being the only stylist in her salon who took textured clients. Every stylist here trains on texture specifically, and we do not carry relaxers. We keep appointments spaced so nobody is double booked and left under a dryer for an hour.

Before your appointment
Should I come with my hair washed or unwashed?
Come with your hair as it normally is, detangled if you can, and free of heavy gel or product buildup. Do not wash it the morning of unless your stylist asked you to. Washing is part of almost every service.
How long will my appointment take?
A wash and style is about two hours, a silk press two to three, and knotless braids four to six depending on length and size. We tell you the estimate when you book so you can plan the day.
Do you work with all curl patterns?
Yes, from loose 3A curls through tightly coiled 4C. Our stylists train specifically on textured hair. We do not offer relaxers or chemical straightening of any kind.
What is the cancellation policy?
Please give us 24 hours. Late cancellations and no shows are charged half the service price because that chair sat empty. Running more than 15 minutes late may mean we have to reschedule you.
