Rivergate Kids
Birth through fifth grade during both services, with background checked volunteers and secure check in.
Middle and high school
Wednesday nights at 6:30pm with games, teaching, and small groups by grade.

Forty groups meeting in homes across the city, most on weeknights, many with childcare.
Marriage and parenting classes
Eight week classes offered twice a year, with scholarships available on request.
Monthly serve day
The first Saturday of each month working with local schools, shelters, and food programs.
What we believe
Not affiliated with a denomination, and that is on purpose
Rivergate started in a middle school cafeteria in 2008 with about sixty people. We are not tied to a denomination, which means we teach straight through books of the Bible rather than following an assigned calendar. Pastor Sam Whitlock has taught here since the beginning, and our leadership is a board of elders drawn from the congregation.

What is a Sunday service like?
About 70 minutes total, with roughly 25 minutes of music and a 30 minute teaching. Casual dress, coffee in the lobby, and no moment where visitors are asked to stand up or identify themselves.
What do you do with my kids?
Rivergate Kids runs during both services for birth through fifth grade. You check your child in at a kiosk and receive a matching tag, and only that tag releases them. Every volunteer is background checked and rooms have two adults at all times.
What does non denominational actually mean?
We are not governed by or funded through a denominational body. We are led by a board of elders from our own congregation, we hold historic Christian beliefs, and we teach through books of the Bible rather than a denominational lectionary.
Will I be asked for money?
No plate is passed and no one will follow up with you about giving. There are boxes in the lobby and an online option for those who choose to give. We publish our financials to the congregation twice a year.
