How we work
One perfumer, one bench, no white label
Nadia trained in Grasse and spent eight years formulating for other people's labels before starting Sable & Ash in a Southeast Portland studio. Nothing here is bought pre made and relabeled. We publish full ingredient lists, including the synthetics, because a good synthetic musk is not something to hide.

Before you order
How long does a bottle actually last?
A 50ml bottle holds roughly 500 sprays. At three sprays a day that is about five months. Extraits are more concentrated, so one or two dabs is plenty and a 15ml bottle often lasts a year.
Why does the same scent smell different on me?
Skin pH, how dry your skin is, and even your diet change how the base notes develop. That is exactly why we sell 2ml samples first and credit the cost back. Test on skin, not on a paper strip.
Do you offer returns on full bottles?
Unopened bottles can come back within 30 days for a full refund. Once a bottle is sprayed we cannot resell it, so we ask that you sample first. If a bottle arrives damaged we replace it immediately.
What does the batch date on the bottle mean?
It is the day the juice was poured after maceration. Fragrance is stable for years when kept out of sunlight and heat, and the date lets you tell us exactly which batch you have if a scent ever seems off.
