About me
One photographer, a limited number of weddings
I am Nora, and I shoot about eighteen weddings a year out of a small studio on Broadway in Kingston. Keeping the number low is why galleries go out in four weeks instead of four months. I shoot documentary style, which means I mostly stay out of the way and step in when a family portrait list needs someone to run it.

Booking questions
How far in advance should we book?
Most couples book nine to fourteen months out, and fall Saturdays in the Hudson Valley go first. That said, I keep a few dates open for shorter timelines, so it is always worth asking about your specific date.
What does the deposit cover and is it refundable?
A 30 percent retainer holds your date and is non refundable, since I turn away other bookings for that day. The balance is due two weeks before the wedding. If you move your date I will transfer the retainer to any open date within twelve months.
Do we get the raw files?
No, but you get every image worth keeping, fully edited, usually 600 or more for a full day. Raw files are unfinished and not representative of my work. You do receive a full print release so you can print and share the edited images however you like.
What happens if you get sick on our wedding day?
I carry a backup shooter agreement with three Hudson Valley photographers whose work I trust. If I genuinely cannot shoot, one of them covers the day at my rate and I still handle the editing and delivery.
