Our clinic

Three therapists, no aides running your session

Cornerstone opened in 2010 on the belief that an aide counting reps is not physical therapy. Your therapist stays with you the entire hour, which is why our plans of care tend to run fewer total visits than a high volume clinic. We treat a lot of runners and cyclists, and we are comfortable telling you when you need imaging or a physician rather than more sessions.

•Licensed therapist for the full hour, every visit
•Home program written down, not shouted over your shoulder
•Direct referral to physicians when therapy is not the answer

FAQ

Questions new patients ask

Do I need a doctor's referral?

In Colorado you can see a physical therapist directly without a referral. Some insurance plans still require one for coverage, so we verify your benefits before the first visit and tell you what your plan needs.

How many visits will I need?

Most conditions run six to twelve visits, and we give you an estimated range at the evaluation rather than an open ended plan. Because each session is a full hour, patients often finish in fewer visits than a shorter format clinic would require.

What should I wear?

Clothing you can move in and that lets us see the area, so shorts for knee or hip work and a tank top for shoulder issues. Bring the shoes you actually train in if the problem is running related.

Do you take my insurance?

We are in network with most major commercial plans and Medicare, and we bill them directly. Call with your member ID and we will run a benefits check and quote your expected per visit cost before you commit.
