Initial evaluation
Full hour of movement testing, hands on assessment and a written plan with a timeline.
No aide handing you a resistance band while your PT works three rooms. One therapist, one patient, sixty minutes, start to finish.
Idaho is a direct access state, so you can start physical therapy without a physician referral.
Full hour of movement testing, hands on assessment and a written plan with a timeline.
Sixty minutes of manual therapy and loaded exercise progression with your own therapist.
ACL, rotator cuff, total knee and total hip protocols coordinated with your surgeon.
Treadmill video assessment, cadence and load review, and a specific return to mileage plan.
Testing and repositioning for BPPV, plus balance retraining for fall risk.
Added to a treatment session for stubborn trigger points in the hip, calf or shoulder.
Anchor Point runs on a schedule most clinics would call inefficient. Each therapist sees eight patients a day instead of eighteen, which means hands on treatment for the whole hour and enough time to actually load an exercise correctly. Most patients finish care in eight to twelve visits rather than dragging on for months.
“Nine visits after my knee replacement I was back on the Greenbelt. My last clinic had me on a bike in a corner for twenty minutes and called it therapy.”
Gary L., Total knee rehab
“The running analysis found a cadence problem I had for years. Shin pain gone in five weeks and I did not have to stop running.”
Hannah P., Running gait analysis
Not in Idaho. Direct access lets you start physical therapy with an evaluation from us. Some insurance plans still require a referral for reimbursement even when state law does not, so we check your specific plan when we verify benefits.
Most non surgical conditions resolve in eight to twelve visits over six to eight weeks. Post surgical protocols run longer and are set by your surgeon. At the evaluation you get a written estimate of visits, and we revise it out loud if progress differs.
Clothing you can move in, and something that gives us access to the area we are treating. Shorts for knee or hip work, a tank top for shoulders. Bring running shoes if you are coming for a gait analysis, ideally the pair you actually train in.
Some treatment produces temporary soreness, similar to a hard workout, and certain manual techniques are uncomfortable while they are happening. Nothing should be sharp or make your condition worse. We use a pain scale at every visit and adjust intensity to it.
Call or request a time online. New evaluations are usually available within three business days.
