Two hours in studio and on location with 25 retouched images for a website and social profiles.

Ninety minutes, three outfits, two locations, 40 edited images plus a yearbook ready crop.

About the studio
A north facing window and twelve years of practice
The studio sits on West Main with a wall of north facing windows, which is why the light looks the way it does. I have photographed portraits in Richmond since 2013, everything from attorneys who need one good headshot to families who come back every other year. Sessions are tethered to a monitor so you are not waiting a week to find out how it went.

Session questions
What should I wear?
Solid colors and simple patterns photograph best, and bringing two or three options gives us range. Avoid bright logos and busy prints that pull the eye. You get a wardrobe guide when you book, and you are welcome to text me photos of options beforehand.
How long until I get my photos?
Your online gallery arrives within seven days of the session. Headshot clients who need something faster can request a same day preview of one retouched file at no extra charge. Print orders placed from the gallery ship in about a week.
What if the weather ruins an outdoor session?
We reschedule at no charge, usually within the same week. Light rain or overcast is often better than bright sun for portraits, so I will call the morning of and give you my honest read rather than cancelling automatically.
Do I get the digital files, and can I print them myself?
Yes. Every session includes high resolution retouched files with a personal use release, so you can print them, post them and use them on a professional profile. Commercial advertising use for business clients is a separate license, which I quote up front.
