Lakeshore is a group practice, which means your therapist can consult with colleagues who specialize in trauma, assessment or couples work without you starting over somewhere new. We match you at intake based on the problem and the schedule you need, and we will say when a different practice is a better fit.

You do not have to choose. Our intake coordinator asks about the concern, your schedule and any preferences, then matches you with the clinician whose specialty and availability fit. If it does not feel right after two or three sessions, tell us and we will move you internally.
We are in network with most major Wisconsin plans including Quartz, Dean, Anthem and Medicare. We verify your benefits and quote your expected copay before the first appointment. Assessments are covered differently than therapy, so we check those separately.
For focused problems like panic or specific phobias, twelve to sixteen sessions is common. Longstanding depression or trauma work often runs six months to a year. We review progress with you every six sessions so the endpoint is a conversation, not a surprise.
Yes, with the legal exceptions every Wisconsin psychologist has: risk of serious harm to yourself or someone else, and suspected abuse of a child or vulnerable adult. We go through those in writing at intake. Records are not shared with family, employers or schools without your written consent.
