Contingency search
You pay only if you hire someone we introduced, invoiced on their start date.
We work sales, finance and operations roles for companies between 20 and 500 people. You pay nothing until someone you hired starts.
Pick the model that fits the role, not the one that suits us.
You pay only if you hire someone we introduced, invoiced on their start date.
For leadership roles where you need exclusivity and a market map, not a race.
We employ the contractor, run payroll and carry the insurance for the term.
Flat fee per cohort when you are opening a floor and need eight to twenty seats filled.
Current Charlotte market ranges for the role before you post a number you regret.
Dana Halstead and Rob Ivey left a large staffing firm in 2016 because the quota model rewarded volume over fit. We keep a hard cap of five open searches each so every candidate gets a real screening call rather than a keyword match. If we do not think we can fill your role, we say so in the first conversation.
“Dana sent four candidates and we hired two of them. That is a better ratio than our internal pipeline had all year.”
Kevin R., VP Sales, logistics company
“They talked us out of a role we did not need to backfill. Cost them a fee and earned the next three.”
Sondra P., Head of People, fintech
“Our controller search closed in five weeks after eight months of us trying alone.”
Michael E., CFO, manufacturing
On a contingency search you pay nothing until a candidate we introduced accepts an offer and starts. The invoice goes out on their first day with 30 day terms.
Inside 30 days we refund the fee in full. Between 30 and 90 days we run the search again at no charge. After 90 days the placement is considered complete.
Twenty percent of the base salary for the first year on contingency work. Bonus, commission and equity are not included in the calculation, which is not true of every firm you will talk to.
Yes, roughly a third of our placements last year were fully remote. Our candidate network is strongest in the Southeast, so remote roles open to that region fill fastest.
A fifteen minute intake call gives us the scope, the range and the must haves. Candidates usually start landing in your inbox within a week.
