Buying and owning questions
What can my truck actually tow?
Look for the payload sticker inside the driver door jamb, not the marketing tow number. Bring us your year, make, engine, axle ratio, and cab configuration and we will calculate the real limit including hitch weight and passengers.
Do you take trades?
Yes, and we also sell on consignment if you want more than a trade number. Consignment units stay insured by you, we handle showings and paperwork, and our fee comes out at closing.
How far out is service scheduling?
One to two weeks in spring and fall, our busiest seasons, and usually within a few days in midwinter. Emergency repairs for travelers passing through get worked in the same week whenever we can.
Do I need to winterize if I store it here in the valley?
Yes. Grand Junction sees hard freezes most winters, and a split water line or cracked water heater is a far more expensive repair than the winterizing service. Plan on having it done by early November.
