About Palletwise
Written by people who ran a warehouse first
Our founders spent nine years operating a food distribution warehouse in west Michigan and hated every system they tried. Palletwise was built to be usable by a seasonal picker on day one, on cheap Android scanners, in a building with patchy wifi. Offline mode is not a feature request here, it was in the first release.

Buying and implementation questions
How long does implementation actually take?
The median customer is running live transactions 19 days after kickoff. That covers importing your item master, generating and applying location labels, connecting your ERP or storefront, and two days of on floor training with your team. Multi site rollouts add roughly a week per additional building.
Do we need to buy special scanners?
No. Palletwise runs on standard Android devices, and most customers use rugged handhelds in the 300 to 600 dollar range or ordinary phones in a case for lighter duty. We will tell you which models we see working well, and we do not sell hardware, so there is no margin in our recommendation.
What happens when the wifi drops in the back of the building?
Scanners keep working. Receipts, picks and counts are stored on the device and sync automatically when the connection returns, with conflict handling for the rare case where two devices touched the same location. This was designed in from the first version because our founders had a dead zone by the freezer.
Can we get our data out if we leave?
Yes, at any time and at no cost. Full CSV export of items, locations, on hand quantities and complete transaction history is available from the admin panel without asking us. The REST API is documented publicly and there is no contractual barrier to migrating away.
