Sunridge was started by two former commercial electricians who got tired of cleaning up rushed residential jobs. We do our own site surveys, our own permitting and our own installs. If a roof is too shaded or too close to reroofing to make sense, we say so and walk away.

Before you go solar
How long does the whole process take?
Typically five to eight weeks from signed design to permission to operate. Install itself is one to two days. Most of the calendar is city permitting and utility interconnection approval, which we file and track for you.
Do I need a battery?
Not for savings alone in most cases. A battery matters if you want outage protection or your rate plan penalizes evening usage heavily. We model both scenarios so you can see the difference in dollars.
What happens if my roof needs replacing later?
We remove and reinstall the array around the roofing work. If your roof has under about seven years left, we usually recommend reroofing first so you are not paying for that removal twice.
What does the workmanship coverage actually include?
Our 25 year term covers our labor, our mounting and any roof penetration we made. Panels and inverters carry their own manufacturer terms, which we hand you in writing at closeout.
