How we got here
A hockey shop that kept adding sports
Northline started in 1998 as a two-bench skate shop off London Road. Youth hockey parents kept asking where to buy running shoes, then tennis rackets, then lacrosse sticks, and we kept saying yes. The sharpening bench is still in the same corner it started in.

FAQ
Common questions
How long does skate sharpening take?
Usually ten to fifteen minutes if there is no line, and we will text you when it is done so you do not have to wait in the store. Saturday mornings in season can run to about an hour.
Do you offer trade-in on kids' gear?
Yes, on skates, cleats, and helmets under three years old and in safe condition. Credit is typically twenty to thirty percent of the original price, applied to the next size up.
Can you match online prices?
We match any authorized US retailer on identical in-stock items, and the fitting, baking, and first sharpening are included at no extra charge.
What tension should I string my racket at?
Most recreational players do well between 50 and 55 pounds. Bring your current racket in and we will read the existing tension and talk through whether more control or more power is what you are missing.
