Five artists, one clean shop, no walk in flash pressure
Blackline opened on Central in 2014 as a collective, which means each artist books their own calendar and keeps their own style rather than everyone drawing the same thing. Single use needles and cartridges, autoclaved tubes, and a health department license posted by the door. We take walk ins when we have gaps but most work here starts as a consultation.

Before your appointment
How does the deposit work?
Deposits run $100 for smaller pieces and $200 for full day sessions. It holds your slot, pays your artist for the drawing time, and comes off the final price. It is forfeited if you no show or cancel with less than 48 hours notice.
How much will my tattoo cost?
Small pieces hit the $120 shop minimum. Larger work is hourly starting at $180, and your artist will give you an honest session estimate at the consultation. Nobody here quotes a final number for a large piece without seeing the placement on your body.
Can you cover an old tattoo?
Often, but not always in one session and not with any design. Dark solid work covers better than fine line. Bring in the existing piece for a consultation and your artist will tell you straight whether a cover up, a rework, or laser fading first is the right route.
What is the aftercare?
Keep the wrap on for the time your artist tells you, wash gently with unscented soap, and use a thin layer of unscented lotion. No pools, no soaking, no direct sun for two weeks. Follow that and the free touch up window stays open for six months.
