About the playhouse
Twenty two years in the Strip District
The Foundry opened in 2003 in a machine shop that still has the crane rail overhead. We produce six shows a season with a resident company of local actors and designers, mixing new work with revivals that earn their place. The building is ours, which is why tickets start at thirty four dollars instead of ninety and why students get in for eighteen.

Planning your visit
Where do I park?
There is a paid lot directly across Smallman with evening rates, and free street parking after 6pm on the surrounding blocks. Arriving twenty minutes early is usually enough to walk in without hurrying.
Is there a dress code?
None at all. People come from work, from dinner and from the gym, and nobody notices. Come as you are and get a drink at the lobby bar, which stays open through intermission.
Is the theatre accessible?
Yes. The lobby, house and restrooms are wheelchair accessible with dedicated seating locations, and assistive listening devices are available free at the box office. Let us know when booking so we can hold the right seats.
Can I exchange my tickets?
Subscribers exchange free up to 24 hours before curtain. Single tickets can be exchanged for a $6 fee, subject to availability, and we can convert an unusable ticket into a donation receipt if the run is sold out.
