Northbank started in 2014 as two therapists sharing an office and now has seven clinicians licensed in Oregon as LPCs, LCSWs and a psychologist. Specialties include anxiety, trauma, grief, perinatal mental health and couples work. Our intake coordinator listens first and then suggests a clinician, because a good match does more for outcomes than any single approach.
“The consult call mattered. They matched me with someone who does trauma work rather than whoever was free.”
J. R., Individual therapy
“Telehealth meant we could keep going after we moved to Bend without starting over.”
Alexis M., Couples therapy
“Being told clearly in session three what the plan was made it much easier to stay with it.”
D. P., Anxiety, weekly sessions
Several of our clinicians are in network with Regence, Providence, PacificSource and Moda. Coverage varies by clinician, so we verify your specific benefit before your first session and tell you your expected cost.
Usually one to two weeks, sometimes sooner for telehealth or daytime slots. Evening appointments have the longest wait. We will tell you honestly at the consult call rather than putting you on an open-ended list.
Say so, to them or to the intake coordinator. Switching within the practice is common and not awkward, and if nobody here is right we will give you referrals elsewhere.
For most concerns research shows comparable outcomes, and it removes commute and childcare barriers. Some work, particularly certain trauma approaches, goes better in person, and your clinician will discuss that with you.
Request a free consult call and our intake coordinator will get back to you within one business day.
